Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable energy sectors
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks for organizational decision-making
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote at major innovation summits
- Drive scenario planning and risk mitigation for disruptive market shifts
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and horizon scanning tools
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research capabilities
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Experience with patent analysis, venture capital due diligence, or policy development
- Published author or frequent speaker at futurism conferences
