Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and design teams
- Conduct horizon-scanning analysis to identify disruptive market opportunities
- Design and implement scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical and tech disruptions
- Present foresight findings to C-suite and external stakeholders through compelling narratives
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in innovation strategy, R&D, or tech foresight role
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-focused projects with measurable impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with innovation frameworks (e.g., Delphi, Three Horizons)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
