Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technological, social, and economic trends to forecast market disruptions
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive futures research framework for strategic decision-making
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for 2030+ challenges
- Present compelling future scenarios to executive leadership and stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Design and implement horizon scanning methodologies across the organization
- Mentor innovation teams in futures thinking and strategic foresight practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting
- Strong background in AI, biotech, or sustainability domains
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation initiatives from concept to launch
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFS, CFIP) highly desirable
