Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum computing infrastructure supporting 1000+ qubit systems
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid architectures
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Optimize quantum circuit performance through compiler innovations
- Establish security frameworks for quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Drive R&D initiatives in quantum machine learning applications
- Maintain compliance with NIST quantum security standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in high-performance computing architecture leadership
- Expertise in quantum algorithms and circuit design
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and superconducting systems
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum supremacy
- Certification in AWS/Azure quantum services preferred
