Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026+ technology and societal foresight framework
- Lead scenario planning workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and risks
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-focused solutions
- Produce strategic whitepapers and trend reports for executive leadership
- Establish innovation KPIs and track progress against future-state targets
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future-thinking methodologies
- Represent Horizon Labs at global innovation forums and thought leadership events
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial products
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling skills
- Published thought leadership in innovation or future studies
- Experience with horizon scanning and trend analysis methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to influence C-suite decisions with future-focused data
