Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ strategic innovation roadmaps using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Produce scenario-based forecasts for market shifts and regulatory impacts
- Partner with R&D to prioritize future-focused R&D investments and pilot programs
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring innovation pipeline maturity
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and external industry forums
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodologies and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology foresight roles
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, AR/VR
- Proven ability to translate future insights into executable business strategies
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., CFTE, CFP) strongly preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published future scenario analyses or innovation roadmaps
