Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic innovation framework using horizon scanning and scenario planning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling disruptive technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Conduct trend analysis across 15+ emerging domains to identify billion-dollar opportunities
- Design and facilitate future-thinking workshops for executive stakeholders and Fortune 500 partners
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at premier innovation forums
- Drive the integration of ESG and ethical foresight into product development lifecycles
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futurism, or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and exponential technology assessment
- Track record of launching successful future-oriented initiatives with measurable impact
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or successful innovation outcomes
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis) and data visualization
