Responsibilities
- Develop and implement forward-looking innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 market disruptions
- Analyze emerging technologies, sociocultural trends, and geopolitical shifts to identify strategic opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to co-create future scenarios with engineering, product, and design teams
- Establish quantitative and qualitative frameworks for evaluating futuristic concepts and viability
- Present visionary insights to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling narratives
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Translate foresight into actionable product roadmaps and business development initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or technology foresight roles
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial success
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex future concepts
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy preferred
