Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, climate resilience) to identify transformative opportunities for 2026+
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks using scenario planning and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Produce high-impact foresight reports for executive stakeholders and board members
- Partner with R&D to prioritize emerging technologies with 5-10 year impact potential
- Establish global network of futurists, academics, and industry thought leaders
- Design organizational resilience strategies for systemic future disruptions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of translating future trends into business strategy
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, Web3)
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex future concepts to diverse audiences
- Published research or thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight
- Experience working with C-suite executives in Fortune 500 companies
