Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology vision, aligning R&D with market trends and societal needs
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing AI-powered decision systems with embedded ethical frameworks
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government bodies, and Fortune 500 companies
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite executives and board members, securing $50M+ annual budgets
- Develop predictive models for technology adoption curves and market disruption scenarios
- Oversee implementation of global-scale pilot programs for breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years focused on future-tech forecasting
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurology
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Expertise in technology ethics frameworks and responsible AI development
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on technology's societal impact
- Experience securing $100M+ in R&D funding from government/private sources
- Deep understanding of geopolitical tech policy and global regulatory landscapes
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust preferred)
