Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and assess their strategic implications for 2026+
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with business growth objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate and prioritize innovation initiatives with executive stakeholders
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning to anticipate industry shifts and positioning opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and influence high-impact technology investments
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers for intelligence sharing
- Drive the integration of ethical frameworks and sustainability principles into technology strategy
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and influencing high-stakes decisions
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology transformation initiatives
