Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps targeting 2026-2030 market opportunities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future tech adoption strategies
- Create predictive models for technology lifecycle management and ROI optimization
- Establish ethical governance frameworks for next-generation AI and autonomous systems
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype breakthrough solutions with 5+ year horizons
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of launching at least one 5+ year technology initiative
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Certification in Foresight Methodology or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFM, CFP)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Prior work in ethical AI development or responsible innovation initiatives
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
