Responsibilities
- Architect and implement 2026 technology roadmaps across quantum, AI, and biotech domains
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives to bridge theoretical research with commercial applications
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 3-5 year market viability potential
- Develop patent strategies and IP protection frameworks for future innovations
- Partner with VPs of Product to integrate future tech into existing ecosystems
- Present strategic visions to C-suite and board stakeholders quarterly
- Mentor junior strategists in future technology forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-tech forecasting
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in IEEE, Nature, or equivalent tier-1 journals
- Experience leading cross-continental R&D teams of 15+ members
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies
- Expertise in technology lifecycle management from concept to market
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust, or similar)
