Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology strategy aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying, evaluating, and deploying emerging technologies (quantum AI, neural interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive intelligence to anticipate disruptions in global tech landscape
- Design technology adoption frameworks for enterprise-scale implementation across 15+ countries
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate technology strategy into corporate vision and M&A activities
- Manage $50M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused portfolio management
- Present strategic recommendations to board of directors and industry stakeholders
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Deep expertise in future forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, technology roadmapping)
- Executive presence with ability to influence C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with MBA or PhD preferred
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals (Nature, IEEE, MIT Tech Review)
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Java, R) and data analytics tools
