Responsibilities
- Lead technology horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ innovation cycles
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive future technology roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Conduct competitive intelligence and market opportunity assessments for emerging tech domains
- Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate technical feasibility of next-gen solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research organizations
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Proven experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Excellent communication and executive presentation abilities
- Master's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism preferred
