Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, Web3, etc.) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and pilot programs for next-gen solutions
- Develop strategic partnerships with research institutions and innovation hubs
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive leadership and investors
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and measure ROI on futuristic technology investments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record in developing long-term technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, blockchain, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong background in stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
