Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 3-year technology strategy roadmap aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and evaluating emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Conduct competitive intelligence analysis and scenario planning for future tech disruptions
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and C-suite with data-driven insights
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget and vendor partnerships for experimental technologies
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of technological foresight
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of implementing future-forward tech initiatives
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR)
- Certification in strategic foresight or technology forecasting preferred
- Experience with scenario modeling and risk assessment frameworks
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
