Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year technology roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and sustainable systems
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with $10M+ innovation budgets
- Identify and partner with emerging tech startups and research institutions
- Develop patent strategies for breakthrough technologies with 20+ filings/year
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Mentor technical teams in future-proofing methodologies
- Track global tech trends via proprietary predictive analytics platform
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized tech products
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience managing cross-continental innovation teams
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies
- Deep understanding of ethical tech governance frameworks
- Fluency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive modeling
