Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and decentralized systems
- Lead market research and competitive analysis for emerging tech trends
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and academic institutions
- Oversee budget allocation for prototype development and pilot programs
- Drive innovation culture through internal hackathons and thought leadership
- Align technology initiatives with ESG and sustainability goals
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years at director level
- Proven track record in scaling tech ventures from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum, etc.)
- Experience managing $1M+ budgets and cross-functional teams of 20+
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global tech ecosystems
- Certifications in agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe) preferred
