- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and ROI tracking
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future tech into current offerings
- Build partnerships with research labs and academic institutions
- Develop scenario plans for technological disruption
- Mentor junior innovators in future-tech methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation management
- Proven track record of forecasting market trends (3+ years ahead)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, IoT, blockchain, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and risk assessment frameworks
- Strong presentation skills for executive audiences
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MBA, MS in Engineering/CS preferred)
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $5M
