Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and Web3 ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing prototype solutions for emerging market opportunities
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and research labs
- Present future technology scenarios to C-suite executives and Board of Directors
- Develop patent strategies and intellectual property portfolios for breakthrough innovations
- Mentor junior innovators and cultivate a culture of experimental learning
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products or technologies that transformed markets
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to translate complex concepts into actionable plans
- Strong network of connections within global tech innovation ecosystems
- Experience securing multi-million dollar R&D budgets and managing innovation pipelines
- Prior experience working with futures methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi techniques)
