Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis of emerging technologies
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and innovation ROI
- Manage relationships with academic institutions and research consortia
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong financial modeling skills for innovation portfolio valuation
- PhD or advanced degree in relevant technical field preferred
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies
