Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify breakthrough technologies impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop and maintain 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with organizational growth objectives
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Present future scenarios and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
- Manage cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technology solutions
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at industry forums
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MBA, MS Engineering, or equivalent)
- Experience with futures research methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Track record of successfully implementing future-focused initiatives
