Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational vision
- Lead cross-functional teams in evaluating emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Develop strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech incubators
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for disruptive technologies
- Present executive-level strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors
- Manage innovation budgets and ROI projections for future technology initiatives
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in future-focused roles
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with technology specialization
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 industry-disruptive initiatives
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (blockchain, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar strategic foresight credential preferred
- Experience scaling technology operations across global markets
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to stakeholders
