Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market predictions and business objectives
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AI, Web3, neurotech) for strategic adoption opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Build executive-level insights on tech disruption risks and competitive positioning
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and integrate disruptive startups
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and external stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for measuring future-readiness and innovation ROI
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial applications
- Executive-level communication with ability to articulate complex tech scenarios
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Futures Studies (PhD/MSc preferred)
- Published thought leadership on tech disruption scenarios (whitepapers, patents, keynotes)
- Experience with horizon scanning, scenario planning, and strategic foresight frameworks
