Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3) to develop 2026-2028 strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Quantify market opportunities for futuristic technologies through data-driven analysis
- Develop implementation frameworks for exponential technologies across business units
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board of directors
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal innovation incubation program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two exponential tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., from Singularity University)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and Austin tech ecosystems
- Prior success scaling innovation initiatives from concept to market
