Responsibilities
- Develop 2026-2030 technology roadmaps for enterprise clients in AI, biotech, and clean energy sectors
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with 3+ year market horizons
- Present strategic foresight to C-suite executives at Fortune 500 companies
- Secure $5M+ in annual R&D funding through innovation grant proposals
- Publish industry white papers on emerging tech trends with 10,000+ reader targets
- Mentor junior futurists in technology forecasting methodologies
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab and CERN for 2026 research initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in future-tech forecasting
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations with 3+ year development cycles
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or Futures Studies from top-tier institution
- Published author in IEEE Spectrum or Nature Futures journal (minimum 5 peer-reviewed papers)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulation platforms
- Experience securing DoD/EU Horizon Europe grants for emerging tech
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 commercialized technologies with >$1M ARR
- Certification in Technology Foresight (TF) from World Future Society
