Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology adoption roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum, AI, Web3)
- Lead R&D initiatives for next-gen prototypes with 18-24 month commercialization horizons
- Partner with VPs of Engineering and Product to align tech strategy with business objectives
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board members securing $5M+ annual budgets
- Monitor global tech trends through patent analysis and academic partnerships
- Mentor a team of 5+ specialists in emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of launching 3+ breakthrough products/services
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, neuromorphic, synthetic biology)
- Experience securing multi-million dollar innovation grants
- Published research in IEEE or Nature journals preferred
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (Horizon Scanning, Delphi)
