Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging tech (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite executives and external investors
- Build partnerships with MIT Media Lab, NASA, and global tech accelerators
- Drive patent strategy for breakthrough technologies
- Mentor junior futurists in our innovation incubator program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar tier journals
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic solutions
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Physics
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks for disruptive technologies
