Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies with transformative potential by 2026
- Develop and maintain technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research in emerging tech domains
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Manage cross-functional innovation initiatives from concept to pilot
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Monitor regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record identifying and implementing disruptive technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business
- Experience developing long-term technology roadmaps (5+ years)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex concepts
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
