Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Develop comprehensive innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational growth objectives
- Conduct scenario planning for technological disruption across vertical industries
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech incubators
- Translate complex technological concepts into actionable business strategies
- Present future vision frameworks to executive stakeholders and investor groups
- Oversee pilot programs for emerging technologies with measurable ROI tracking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, R&D, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends and implementing innovation strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in data-driven scenario modeling
- Strong executive communication abilities for complex technical storytelling
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS)
