Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with disruptive potential through patent analysis and academic partnerships
- Translate complex technological concepts into strategic business opportunities for executive stakeholders
- Build and manage an external innovation network including startups, universities, and research labs
- Present technology foresight insights to C-suite and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons, tech scouting, and internal R&D programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership within tech-forward industries
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, generative AI, neurotech, or climate tech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
