Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies with 3-5 year market impact potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps for integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech solutions
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-forward products
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews in emerging domains
- Secure $500K+ in innovation funding through investor pitches and grants
- Present technology forecasts to board members and external stakeholders
- Mentor junior researchers in future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching at least 2 commercialized innovations
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, biotech)
- Strong financial modeling skills for innovation budgeting and ROI projection
- Exceptional presentation skills with C-level experience
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future studies
- Proficiency in strategic foresight frameworks (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
