- Establish partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich)
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Oversee patent portfolios and intellectual property strategy
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts affecting tech adoption
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization (AI, blockchain, quantum)
- Deep understanding of exponential technology curves (Moore's Law, Kurzweil's predictions)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
