Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with corporate vision
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech fusion, AI ethics frameworks) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and board members with data-backed impact projections
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs to access next-gen innovations
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory developments affecting 2026 adoption timelines
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 scale
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, decentralized AI systems
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or equivalent future-planning methodology
- Exceptional data modeling skills with proficiency in Python/R and predictive analytics tools
- Published research or patents in emerging tech domains (IEEE/ACM preferred)
