Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 3-year technology strategy aligned with 2026 market projections and business objectives
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Present technology roadmaps and innovation forecasts to C-suite executives and investors
- Drive culture of innovation through hackathons, R&D investments, and talent acquisition
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting tech adoption in 2026 landscape
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in executive leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., neuromorphic computing, decentralized AI)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem
- Experience securing multi-million dollar R&D budgets and partnerships
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
