Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year technology innovation roadmap aligned with market disruption opportunities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify high-impact investment areas
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives bridging academic research and commercial applications
- Design and validate technology pilots with Fortune 500 partners
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build and manage an external innovation ecosystem including startups and research institutions
- Drive patent strategy and intellectual property portfolio development
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or venture innovation
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Proven track record of scaling technology from concept to market
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making
- Strong business acumen with experience in commercialization strategies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
