Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with disruptive potential by 2026
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligning with long-term business objectives and market trends
- Conduct competitive intelligence and market research to position our offerings at the forefront of innovation
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and technology consortia
- Monitor global tech policy developments and their impact on our strategic direction
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused technology strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, IoT, quantum computing)
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Experience presenting complex technological concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and global innovation communities
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic innovation management (e.g., CFTE, CSTM) preferred
