Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026+ technology innovation roadmap
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing next-gen AI and quantum solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
- Drive sustainable technology initiatives achieving net-positive impact
- Manage $25M+ R&D budget with measurable ROI on innovation projects
- Present vision to C-suite and board members quarterly with data-driven insights
- Mentor talent pipeline through Horizon's Future Leaders Fellowship program
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech leadership with 5+ years in C-suite roles
- Proven track record scaling innovation teams (min 50 direct reports)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent impact
- Expertise in AI governance, quantum algorithms, or clean tech
- Experience managing >$20M R&D budgets with auditable outcomes
- Deep understanding of geopolitical tech policy frameworks
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust, or Q#)
