Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Technology Roadmap: Collaborate with executive leadership to outline long-term technical strategies and infrastructure needs for the 2026 fiscal year and beyond.
- Lead AI Integration: Spearhead the integration of advanced Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning models into core business operations to automate complex workflows.
- Strategic Innovation: Identify emerging tech trends, such as quantum computing or neural interfaces, and assess their viability for Apex Horizon Systems.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Mentor engineering teams and collaborate with product managers to translate high-level visions into actionable technical specifications.
- Risk Management: Develop contingency plans for technological disruptions and ensure system resilience against evolving cyber threats.
- Vendor & Partner Management: Evaluate and select external technology partners and vendors that align with our 2026 strategic vision.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in software architecture, strategic technology planning, or AI development.
- Strategic Vision: Proven ability to forecast technology trends and translate them into business strategies.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP), AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and cybersecurity best practices.
- Leadership Skills: Strong track record of leading diverse teams and managing cross-functional projects.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
