Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Vision: Lead the end-to-end strategic planning process to define our technological roadmap for the upcoming fiscal years.
- Trend Analysis: Monitor, analyze, and report on emerging technologies, market shifts, and competitive landscapes to identify high-impact opportunities.
- R&D Leadership: Oversee Research & Development initiatives, evaluating prototypes and pilot programs for potential scaling.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and align cross-functional teams on strategic goals.
- Partnership Building: Cultivate relationships with tech vendors, startups, and academic institutions to stay ahead of the curve.
- Feasibility Studies: Conduct rigorous cost-benefit analyses and feasibility studies for proposed technological innovations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic planning, R&D, or a technical leadership role within the tech industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven track record of identifying and executing long-term strategic initiatives.
- Tech Savvy: Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies (AI, IoT, Blockchain, etc.) and their business applications.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire diverse teams.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
