Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable energy systems
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of 15+ engineers and researchers to prototype future-facing solutions
- Secure $5M+ in annual R&D funding through strategic partnerships with DARPA and private investors
- File 15+ patents annually for emerging technologies in biotech and nanomaterials
- Present at 3+ global tech conferences annually including Web Summit and CES
- Mentor junior strategists through our Future Leaders incubation program
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 10-year market potential
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record of launching 3+ commercialized technologies with >$100M market impact
- Expertise in AI governance frameworks and ethical tech development principles
- Strong network with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) and tech accelerators
- Published 5+ peer-reviewed papers in Nature or Science journals
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Certification in Technology Foresight (TFIA) or equivalent
- Fluency in English and Mandarin for international stakeholder engagement
