Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology strategy aligned with market evolution and 2026 industry benchmarks
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Partner with C-suite to integrate future-tech insights into corporate planning and product roadmaps
- Build and manage a portfolio of innovation pilots using next-gen technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Author thought leadership content and present at global tech conferences
- Oversee strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Establish KPIs for innovation ROI and track technology adoption metrics
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with proven experience in emerging tech adoption
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., quantum computing, AGI, neurotech)
- Track record of translating complex tech concepts into executable business strategies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's innovation ecosystem
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting or innovation management
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic innovation (preferred)
- Experience scaling tech teams in high-growth environments
