Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year technology strategy aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in AI ethics, quantum computing adoption, and sustainable tech integration
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused project prioritization
- Build and lead a specialized future-tech task force with external partners
- Drive thought leadership through industry whitepapers and conference keynotes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record in emerging tech adoption (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Strategy
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical domains
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
- Portfolio of executed tech transformation initiatives with measurable impact
