As the Head of Future Technology, you will bridge the gap between high-level business strategy and technical execution. You will be responsible for identifying emerging trends—such as Generative AI, Quantum Computing, and Spatial Computing—and deploying them to create sustainable competitive advantages for Nova Horizon.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmap: Define and execute the comprehensive technology strategy for the 2026 fiscal year, aligning innovation with business goals.
- AI Leadership: Lead the research and integration of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning models into core product ecosystems.
- Trend Analysis: Monitor global tech trends and assess the viability of emerging technologies (e.g., Web3, Edge Computing).
- Team Management: Mentor a diverse team of strategists, engineers, and data scientists to foster a culture of innovation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with C-suite executives and product managers to translate complex technical needs into actionable business solutions.
- R&D Oversight: Manage the technology R&D budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources for experimental projects.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years in technology leadership, with at least 5 years in a strategic planning or architecture role.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), cybersecurity, and data analytics.
- Strategic Mindset: Demonstrated ability to forecast market shifts and pivot technology strategies accordingly.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; capable of presenting to investors and non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership: Proven track record of building and scaling high-performance engineering teams.
