Responsibilities
- Architect Next-Gen AI Systems: Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant AI architectures optimized for the 2026 computing landscape, including quantum-enhanced processing.
- Lead Technical Strategy: Define the long-term technical roadmap for Horizon AI Labs, ensuring alignment with industry trends and futuristic technological capabilities.
- Bridge Theory and Practice: Collaborate with research teams to translate theoretical breakthroughs in generative AI and neural networks into practical, deployable software solutions.
- Optimize Performance: Drive performance engineering initiatives to ensure low-latency, high-throughput data processing across distributed systems.
- Mentorship & Culture: Foster a culture of continuous learning, guiding junior engineers and architects in best practices for secure and ethical AI development.
- Security & Compliance: Oversee the implementation of robust security protocols to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with future regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership or architectural role within AI/ML.
- Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and distributed systems. Familiarity with quantum computing libraries (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq) is a significant plus.
- System Design: Proven track record of designing complex, large-scale systems that handle massive data volumes with high availability.
- Future-Forward Mindset: Demonstrated ability to anticipate emerging technology trends and integrate them into existing ecosystems proactively.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
