Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware/software issues via phone, email, and in-person
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop/laptop systems and peripherals
- Assist with network administration tasks including VPN setup and user account management
- Create and maintain documentation for IT procedures and troubleshooting guides
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve system outages
- Implement security protocols and best practices for data protection
- Conduct regular system updates and patch management
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent experience
- Basic knowledge of Windows/macOS operating systems and networking fundamentals
- Strong problem-solving abilities with customer service focus
- CompTIA A+ certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings/weekends
- Valid driver's license for occasional off-site support
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
