Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Defining the 2026 Vision: Lead the strategic planning process to align technical capabilities with long-term business goals, specifically targeting the AI advancements expected by 2026.
- R&D Leadership: Oversee a dedicated research division focusing on Generative AI, Predictive Analytics, and Autonomous Systems.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Engineering, and Legal teams to ensure AI integration is robust, scalable, and compliant with emerging regulations.
- Team Building: Recruit and mentor a high-performing team of data scientists, ML engineers, and strategists.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate complex technical roadmaps to executive stakeholders and secure buy-in for large-scale initiatives.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with:
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 12+ years of experience in technology, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or strategic role within AI/ML.
- Strategic Mindset: Demonstrated ability to forecast industry trends and translate them into actionable product strategies.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and large language models.
- Communication: Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's long-term AI strategy roadmap for the 2026 timeframe and beyond.
- Lead the architecture and implementation of scalable AI infrastructure and predictive models.
- Identify emerging technologies (e.g., Quantum AI, Advanced NLP) and evaluate their commercial viability.
- Drive the integration of ethical AI principles and bias mitigation strategies into all development cycles.
- Manage a budget of $5M+ and allocate resources efficiently across diverse R&D projects.
- Represent Nexus Horizon at major industry conferences and thought leadership forums.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven track record of delivering successful AI products from concept to market launch.
- Extensive experience with Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and cloud-based ML platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Strong background in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience leading diverse, remote-first engineering teams.
