In this role, you will define the technological trajectory of Nexus Horizon, ensuring we are not just keeping up with trends, but defining them for the year 2026 and beyond. You will bridge the gap between abstract future concepts and executable engineering strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Technology Roadmap for 2026, identifying key innovations in AI, Quantum Computing, and Sustainable Tech.
- Lead the architectural vision for next-generation software ecosystems, ensuring scalability, security, and interoperability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to align technical strategy with business growth goals and market opportunities.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., Neuromorphic Computing, Synthetic Data) to assess their viability for integration.
- Establish best practices for future-proof development and mentor senior engineering teams on long-term technical debt management.
- Represent Nexus Horizon at industry forums, speaking on the future of technology and the strategic implications of 2026 trends.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in software architecture, system design, and technology strategy.
- Proven track record of leading digital transformation initiatives and delivering complex, large-scale systems.
- Deep knowledge of current and emerging technologies, with a specific focus on the trajectory toward 2026 (e.g., AI Agents, Edge Computing).
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is highly desirable.
