- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to bridge the gap between theoretical innovation and market-ready solutions.
- Resource Allocation: Direct budget and talent acquisition to ensure the engineering team is equipped to handle high-complexity projects.
- Trend Analysis: Monitor global tech trends to anticipate shifts in the market and pivot strategies accordingly.
- Strategic Partnerships: Identify and cultivate relationships with academic institutions and tech thought leaders.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; PhD preferred.
- Experience: 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or directorial role.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud architecture, distributed systems, and emerging technologies (e.g., AI, Blockchain, IoT).
- Strategic Mindset: Demonstrated ability to think long-term and execute complex, multi-year projects.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead diverse, high-performing engineering teams and drive organizational change.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to articulate complex technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
